Thank You for considering Marine Consignment of Wickford! We have been in business since 1994, and have an easy, seamless process for consignors and buyers alike.

How Consignment Works

  • Step 1: Condition

    All items for consignment must be in clean and in working condition.

  • Step 2: Dropping Off

    If you have a car load: Please call and make an appointment.

    If you have a few items: Come on by. You will need to fill out a drop off form.

  • Step 3: Drop Off Form

    Our Drop Off Form has two main purposes:

    First: To collect your contact information.

    Second: To record all of the items you wish to consign.

    You will be given a copy of your drop off form with signatures from the consignor (you) and one of our clerks.

  • Step 4: Verification Report & Pricing

    We then process your items and send you a verification report, which is an itemized account of what you consigned and what we intend to sell it for. When you receive the report, please review it and make sure that you are comfortable with our pricing. if you have any questions or concerns, please contact us and we will adjust it accordingly.

    Please evaluate the condition of your item at a reasonable and realistic price.

    General Pricing Guideline:
    Used Items sell at 1/2 of retail.
    New / Unused Items will sell for 2/3 to 3/4 of new retail.

  • Step 5: Payment

    When your items sells, you receive 60% of the final sale price.

    We issue checks once per month. With your check; you will receive a printed payout slip outlining what you are being paid for, as well as how many items remain.

    No, we do not purchase any items outright.

  • How do you keep track of inventory?

    All items are assigned unique product IDs for inventory control.

  • What if I have not consigned with you before?

    First-time customers must set up a consignment account. It’s quick and easy!

  • What is your merchandise quality policy?

    Our goal is to resell high-quality items. We do not sell broken merchandise.
